Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return any items to us in its original condition* within 30 days of receipt. Exchanges and/or Refunds will only be granted within this timescale.
Please enclose a COPY OF THE INVOICE and a brief covering letter explaining the reason for the return and whether a refund or a replacement is preferred. If you do not include all of the necessary paperwork then the refund or replacement of your goods may be delayed or not be completed.

This means that if your parcel is lost in the post then you will be able to claim from the carrier who posted your parcel for the goods lost. F.R.Monkhouse Limited will not accept responsibility if the parcel is lost or damaged. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us.
Postage cost's incurred to return items will only be re-funded if an incorrect item has been dispatched by F.R.Monkhouse Limited i.e. if we have made a mistake. We will not refund the postage if we have sent out what you have ordered.
If you believe you have been sent an incorrect item & wish to be credited for the postage, please include a receipt for the postage cost incurred. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to credit the cost.
Faulty items will be inspected & if deemed to be faulty due to a manufacturing fault, F.R.Monkhouse Limited will credit you for the item to the value when purchased. Due to the nature of Schoolwear and Sport, faulty items will only be considered for inspection within 6 months of purchase. Anything over this time will be dealt with at the discretion of F.R.Monkhouse Limited.

FAULTY ITEMS -
We monitor quality of stock on an ongoing basis and make our best efforts to ensure that it conforms to description, is of a satisfactory quality and is fit for purpose as stated in the Sale of Goods Act 1979. We allow a 30 day period for the return of any goods that you do not feel meet these guidelines and if confirmed we will refund or replace without delay. In some cases if we feel that we would like further advice from a manufacturer to ascertain if the item has a manufacturing fault, we reserve the right to return the item to them for their comments. We will make sure this is done in a reasonable time and we reach a conclusion as soon as possible. Items that are used and are within a 6 month period of purchase, that you feel have developed a fault will be inspected and, if deemed to be faulty due to a manufacturing fault, will be credited or refunded to the value when purchased. Anything over this time will be dealt with at the discretion of F.R.Monkhouse Limited. Please enclose a COPY OF THE INVOICE or RECEIPT and a brief covering letter explaining the reason for the return and whether a refund or a replacement is preferred. If you do not include all of the necessary paperwork the refund or replacement of your goods may be delayed or not completed. For Health and Safety reasons we cannot inspect and process any goods that are returned in a soiled condition.

AT A BRANCH – A list of branches and opening times can be found on our Branches page of the web site. Please be aware due to the geographic nature of our stock holding on our Schoolwear range, not all items are stocked at all branches. If you are wanting to exchange an item please ring the branch you are planning to visit to check the stock situation before you travel. If not in stock we will endeavour to transfer any goods to the branch that is most convenient for you.

UK ORDERS
For UK customers all orders will normally be dispatched through Royal Mail courier postal services or DPD. It is not possible to collect orders from our warehouse.
Subject to stock, your order will be dispatched within 24hours of ordering. Our delivery service takes 3-4 working days. (Deliveries to Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Scotland & Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland & the Channel Islands may take longer). Please note that due to the geographic nature of our stock holding and different branch opening times some orders may take up to 14 days for delivery, we will endeavour to inform you if there is likely to be a delay of this type.
Orders placed before 12noon will be despatched on the same working day subject to stock availability. Any orders placed after this time or on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday may not be despatched until the following working day.
Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday only. Deliveries will not be made on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday.
Your order will be delivered between 8:00am - 5:30pm. A signature is required upon delivery, although anyone at the delivery address may sign for the parcel.
If there is no one to accept delivery, the courier will leave a calling card for you to contact the depot to arrange a more convenient time for delivery.
If you supply an incorrect postal code or incomplete address then there may be a delay in despatching your parcel or delivery of your parcel may not be possible. It is not the responsibility of Monkhouse Intersport to ensure that the address is correct and we accept no responsibility for the loss or delay in delivery of your parcel if the address that you supplied is incorrect or incomplete.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

When ordering goods for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that when dispatching products internationally, cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
